A Reynoldsville woman is facing felony theft charges after police say she failed to deposit more than $2,500 belonging to a Brookville nonprofit.
According to an ExploreJeffersonpa.com article, Brookville Borough Police, 35-year-old Courtney Eisman, the former treasurer of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, was charged July 1 with theft by deception and theft by failing to make required disposition of funds. Investigators allege she received $2,513 for deposit on May 29 but deposited only $350 after repeated delays.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 3 before a district judge.
