County offices have reopened inside the renovated Clarion County Courthouse after nearly two years of construction, returning public services from their temporary location in Shippenville.
Exploreclarion.com reports, County officials said the project modernized the courthouse’s heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical and technology systems while preserving its historic 1885 character.
The renovation was funded through a combination of federal COVID-19 relief money, state grants and a USDA loan, with county maintenance staff completing much of the work to reduce costs.
