A commercial truck driver is facing DUI and drug possession charges after calling Pennsylvania State Police on himself to report he was under the influence, cocaine and meth, authorities said.
Troopers were dispatched around 5:11 p.m. on April 29 after receiving reports of a tractor-trailer traveling erratically at about 5 mph near the intersection of Route 28 and Mount Pleasant Road in Jefferson County. Police said the 50-year-old Gouldsboro man also called dispatch, stating he was high on cocaine and methamphetamine and wanted to be arrested.
Troopers located the vehicle and took the driver into custody. No injuries or crashes were reported.
