Two men were taken into custody following a traffic stop in Summerville Borough, Jefferson County, on May 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney.
Troopers said a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado was stopped around 1:11 p.m. in the 12700 block of Harrison Street for a summary traffic violation. During the investigation, police alleged a 58-year-old New Bethlehem man and a 60-year-old Hawthorn man were found in possession of suspected controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Troopers also said the driver was determined to be under the influence.
Charges against both men are pending.
