A western Pennsylvania man who previously announced a 2028 campaign against the U.S. Sen. John Fetterman has been indicted on federal charges accusing him of making politically motivated death threats against President Donald Trump, ICE agents and members of Congress.
Federal prosecutors said Raymond Eugene Chandler III, 40, of Wilkinsburg, allegedly left threatening voicemails between April 2025 and May 2026 advocating violence tied to immigration enforcement, war and wealth inequality. Authorities said Chandler referenced killing ICE agents, harming lawmakers and publishing personal information of federal officers.
Chandler remains in custody after investigators determined he posed a risk to the community.
