Four officers from the Clearfield Regional Police Department have been honored with the “Power of Red Heroes Award” by the American Red Cross for rescuing six people from a burning home.
Sgt. Walker and Officers Kahley, Lash and Fye forced entry into the East End residence during an active fire and ensured all occupants were safely evacuated.
Department officials said the officers’ actions reflected exceptional bravery and helped prevent a potential tragedy.
