A 27-year-old man from Nanticoke has been charged with multiple offenses after authorities say he lured a missing 14-year-old girl through social media and brought her to his Luzerne County home.
According to exploreclarion.com, the girl, who was reported missing Sunday from Whitehall Borough and has family ties to Forest and Clarion counties, was found safe following a multi-agency investigation involving local, state, and federal authorities.
The suspect, identified as Christopher P. Jones, faces charges including attempted sex offenses, unlawful contact with a minor, interference with custody of children, and corruption of minors, and is awaiting further legal proceedings.
