A Clarion man is facing felony charges after authorities say he cut off his court-ordered GPS monitoring device and fled from parole supervision, police said.
ExploreClarion.Com is reporting 38 year-old, Steven Richard Rosher, allegedly removed the device with a knife in the parking lot of the Clarion Fire Department before running from the scene on March 19. Officers later recovered the damaged bracelet, and Rosher was subsequently charged with flight to avoid apprehension and criminal mischief.
Court records show he was arraigned April 30 and remains jailed on $50,000 bail ahead of a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 12.
