The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency says U.S. Army Pfc. John A. Walko of Commodore, Pennsylvania, killed in World War II, has been accounted for, with his remains now set to return home after more than eight decades. For his 94-year-old sister, Sally, it fulfills a lifelong vow to “find him” and “bring him home,” a promise that shaped generations of family memory.
