A PennDOT highway restoration project on Route 219 near Falls Creek will begin today, covering about four miles from Sandy Township in Clearfield County into Washington Township in Jefferson County.
Work will include milling, paving, drainage improvements, and line painting, with flaggers controlling traffic during daylight hours and some delays expected. The $2.1 million project is anticipated to be completed in early June, weather permitting.
