On the softball side, Redbank Valley handled Brookville 15-5, Philipsburg-Osceola shut out Clearfield 6-0, Kane beat Coudersport 16-6 in five, Curwensville downed Cranberry 11-6, DuBois defeated Elk County Catholic 9-5, DuBois Central Catholic topped St. Marys 12-3, Forest Area edged Karns City 9-7, Moniteau slipped past Keystone 12-11, and Port Allegany shut out Smethport 13-0 in five innings.
