A 20-year-old Jefferson County man is facing felony and misdemeanor charges after authorities say he led police on a motorcycle chase through Brookville at speeds exceeding 90 miles per hour.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.com the rider allegedly fled an attempted traffic stop on April 2, passing multiple vehicles in the opposite lane and continuing through Pine Creek Township before officers ended the pursuit due to safety concerns. Police said the suspect was later identified through witness statements and social media messages. He is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, multiple counts of reckless endangerment, and numerous traffic violations.
A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
