A Rimersburg man is facing assault charges after authorities say he kicked another man during a dispute over a child left unattended while babysitting.
Codie Lee Jones, 20, was charged with simple assault and harassment following the March 21 incident, according to the Southern Clarion County Regional Police Department. Investigators said the altercation began as a verbal argument before turning physical when a bystander intervened, leaving the victim with minor injuries and breathing difficulty.
Jones is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing May 12, court records show.
