Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a hit-and-run after a truck struck a fiber-optic line over U.S. Route 219 on April 8, leaving the cable hanging low and blocking clearance for larger vehicles.
Authorities said the northbound truck’s top contacted the line west of Marchiori Road in Horton Township, causing it to sag dangerously across the roadway.
The driver did not stop, and troopers with the Pennsylvania State Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
