On the softball side in District 9, Port Allegany edged Bradford 6-5, St. Marys outlasted Curwensville 8-7 in 10 innings, Philipsburg-Osceola cruised past DuBois 11-0 in five innings, and Karns City defeated Keystone 10-5.
