A falling tree struck a moving vehicle along Route 66 in Clarion County last month, causing disabling damage but no injuries, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
The incident occurred around 6:24 p.m. March 13 when a 2014 Ford Fusion driven by a 25-year-old New Bethlehem man was traveling south on a curve near Reed Lane and was hit by the tree. The vehicle then continued over the fallen tree, sustaining significant front and undercarriage damage.
The driver and a 23-year-old passenger from Sigel, both wearing seat belts, were not hurt, police said.
