Several waterways in western Pennsylvania have been removed from the state’s trout stocking program ahead of the April 4 season opener, largely due to increased landowner posting that limits public access.
In Jefferson County, affected streams include Big Run, Clear Run, Rattlesnake Run and Walburn Run, according to state officials.
No changes were reported for stocked waters in Clearfield or Clarion counties.
