A Summerville man is facing felony burglary and theft charges after authorities say he stole multiple vehicle engines from a property in Limestone Township and sold them to a scrap yard.
Pennsylvania State Police said Robert Jason Smyers, 51, allegedly took four engines valued at about $3,500 from storage trailers earlier this month. Investigators said a paper trail and witness statements linked him to the sale, and he later admitted to taking and selling the items without permission.
Smyers is awaiting a preliminary arraignment.
