State police responded to a noise complaint Feb. 28 along Carrick Lane in Young Township, Jefferson County.
Troopers said a 39-year-old Punxsutawney man was playing loud music outdoors and refused to lower the volume when asked.
Police said the noise was deemed unreasonable, and the man was issued a citation for disorderly conduct.
