A 58-year-old Clarion man is facing multiple charges after allegedly threatening another man with a knife during a confrontation Saturday afternoon at an apartment complex in Clarion Township, state police said.
According to a criminal complaint, Robert Charles Liston shouted at the victim while holding a long knife and threatened to kill him, prompting the victim to flee to his apartment and call 911. Liston was arraigned the same day before Timothy P. Schill and jailed on $35,000 bail.
Liston is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 24.
