A 26-year-old St. Petersburg man is being held in Clarion County Jail after state police said they found multiple firearms and about 2 grams of cocaine during a February 10 incident at a gas station along Route 322.
According to ExploreClarion.Com, Aaron William Stephens, who is prohibited from possessing firearms due to prior felony convictions, was found with two handguns, a rifle, and ammunition while appearing to be under the influence of an unknown substance.
Stephens was taken to a hospital for evaluation before being arraigned on charges including three counts of possession of a firearm prohibited and drug-related offenses; bail was set at $35,000, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 17.
