Punxsutawney Borough Police have charged a local man in connection with a pair of weekend restaurant burglaries.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.Com, , Tristen Michael Lambert, 27, of Punxsutawney, is accused of breaking into Taco Inc. Bar and Grill and Neko’s Italian Restaurant during the overnight hours of Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. Police said surveillance video and a tip from the public helped identify Lambert, who later confessed to the break-ins after being taken into custody.
Lambert was arraigned Feb. 2 and jailed in Jefferson County after failing to post $50,000 bail.
