A 66-year-old Clarion County man was killed after being struck by a truck while clearing snow from a driveway on New Year’s morning.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.Com, the crash occurred around 11:20 a.m. in the U.S. Route 322 in Clarion Township when Terry L. Wensel Sr. of Strattanville, operating a garden tractor, pulled into the path of a westbound Freightliner, according to police. Wensel was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was not injured, and the crash remains under investigation.
