A Punxsutawney man was cited after a single-vehicle crash Wednesday evening on Knox Dale Road in McCalmont Township, Jefferson County, state police said.
Troopers reported that Brian K. Kirbaugh, 37, lost control of his SUV while negotiating a left-hand curve on wet pavement, causing the vehicle to slide off the roadway and strike a tree. The crash disabled the vehicle and left Kirbaugh with a suspected minor injury, though he was not transported for medical treatment.
Police cited Kirbaugh for driving at an unsafe speed.
