Sykesville Borough Council reorganized during its Jan. 5 meeting, naming Michele Yamrick as president, Elaine Fike as vice president and Nate Alvetro as president pro tem.
According to the Courier Express, members voted to advertise for a vacant council seat and addressed a resident complaint regarding snowplowing damage, while also approving The Arc of Jefferson and Clearfield Counties’ Run/Walk for Someone Special scheduled for April 12, with a rain date of April 26.
