State police have charged a Venango County man with felony theft, accusing him of taking more than $11,500 worth of antiques from a Clarion County business and failing to pay.
ExploreClarion.Com reports, 35-year-old Gavin Daniel Eisenman of Oil City removed multiple items from the Clarion Antique Mall in Paint Township under an agreement to return with payment but never did. Police allege Eisenman later acknowledged owing the money in text messages but has neither paid nor returned the property.
Eisenman was arraigned Monday and released on $5,000 unsecured bail, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 3.
