An 18-year-old DuBois resident, Hayden Michael Yusnukis, is facing a felony charge of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer after allegedly leading state police on a high-speed pursuit through Reynoldsville Borough and Winslow Township on Route 322 in September.
According to a criminal complaint, troopers attempted to stop Yusnukis on Sept. 18 after he passed them at a high rate of speed, but the chase was called off due to unsafe dirt road conditions. Yusnukis later admitted to driving during the incident, which resulted in multiple traffic and misdemeanor charges being filed on Dec. 10.
Yusnukis is already facing separate felony aggravated assault charges, along with 18-year-old Dawson Andrew Maines, related to an alleged beating at a party in Winslow Township on Nov. 29.
Both remain jailed in Jefferson County on $100,000 bail.
