A Jefferson County Jail inmate who escaped from a DuBois work release program last week was captured Wednesday near Pittsburgh, authorities said.
John Russ Moon, 58, was taken into custody by a state police task force at his girlfriend’s home in White Oak, Allegheny County, according to Jail Warden Dustin Myers.
Moon faces felony escape and related charges filed by Punxsutawney-based state police.
