A Curwensville man is facing felony theft charges after allegedly stealing more than $12,000 in bank deposits from a Penn Township store where he worked.
State police say Harold Robe Burnett III, 40, took seven deposits totaling $12,758.81 while serving as the store’s manager. Surveillance video reportedly shows Burnett removing the deposits from the safe before they went missing.
Burnett has been charged with felony theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 17 at the Copper Cork Center.
