William J. Clement has been elected mayor of Punxsutawney, while Joseph F. Ferrara, Sharon Murray, Jessica Smith, and Eric C. Story won four-year seats on Borough Council, according to unofficial election results.
According to ExploreJeffersonPa.Com, Republican David J. Burkett captured the two-year council term. The results remain unofficial until absentee and write-in ballots are counted.
