Penn Highlands DuBois has opened a new “Quiet Room” to support breast cancer patients, offering a space for reflection and access to educational resources.
During an open house, staff highlighted programs on screenings, surgical options, and support services.
Physician Assistant Melissa Hilliard stressed the importance of annual mammograms and said the initiative aims to address not just medical needs but also the social and emotional aspects of care.
