A Kittanning woman was hospitalized with suspected minor injuries after striking a deer in Redbank Township, Clarion County.
PSP says at 9:51 p.m. on October 8, 28-year-old Courtney L. DeSanto was driving south on Route 28 when her 2019 Buick Encore hit a deer, causing it to run off the road, travel about 40 yards through a field, and get stuck in a ditch.
DeSanto was wearing a seat belt.
Summerville and Hawthorn Volunteer Fire Departments and Clarion Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.
