State police are investigating the reported theft of more than $4,000 worth of sports-themed merchandise from vendors at the Hazen Flea Market in Jefferson County.
ExploreJeffersonPa.Com reports, two victims told investigators they were scammed on October 4 by suspects posing as representatives of a southern-based marketing company who claimed to be seizing items for copyright violations.
The suspects allegedly took Pittsburgh and Penn State-themed tumblers, keychains, car coasters, and license plates before leaving with the goods in black garbage bags.
