A Tionesta woman is in Warren County Jail after allegedly assaulting a victim during a domestic incident sparked by a stuffed animal.
38-year-old Ashley Marie Goodman, was arraigned on a few charges including Simple Assault, following the incident early Thursday morning on Elm Street. State Police were dispatched after a verbal argument turned physical, with Goodman allegedly grabbing the victim’s arm and punching them in the face, leaving visible redness and a scratch. The argument reportedly started after the victim was playing with a stuffed animal, which PSP claimed irritated Goodman, who police noted had a strong odor of alcohol.
Goodman was unable to post $5,000 bail. Her preliminary hearing is set for Tuesday, October 14th.
