A Brockway man is facing DUI and felony fleeing charges after allegedly leading State Police on a chase early on September 7 in Snyder Township.
ExploreJeffersonPa.Com reports, Troopers attempted to stop 58-year-old Douglas Edward Meyer after observing his motorcycle weaving on Route 219 around 1:45 a.m. Police say Meyer failed to stop for about a mile before pulling into his residence. A breath test reportedly showed Meyer’s blood alcohol concentration at 0.188%, more than twice the legal limit.
Meyer was arraigned on September 29, and police also determined he lacked a proper motorcycle endorsement and had an expired inspection on the bike. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for December 16.
