A Punxsutawney man is behind bars after allegedly breaking into a woman’s Henderson Township apartment and holding her at gunpoint.
State police say 26-year-old Tyler Williams kicked in the door Sept. 30, demanded answers about a supposed intruder, and threatened to shoot the victim before she called 911. Troopers found Williams outside and recovered a spent 9mm casing, with evidence he fired into the door’s deadbolt.
Williams is being held in Jefferson County Prison on $50,000 bail, facing multiple charges including burglary, assault, and terroristic threats.
