The Clymer Borough Police Chief is facing a summary charge of criminal mischief.
Chief Adam Lewis, who was off-duty, was cited by State Police for an incident on September 10th on Franklin Street. Lewis allegedly knocked a cell phone out of a 26-year-old man’s hand, causing damage.
A non-traffic citation was filed, and the case awaits court action. Lewis remains the full-time police chief. He was promoted to the position just last month, replacing Charles Waller, Jr., who resigned following allegations of simple assault, harassment, and strangulation earlier this year.
