A 39-year-old Clarion man was arrested after allegedly stealing two beers from a Sheetz in Monroe Township on Sept. 4.
Police say Jason Matthew Hayford was identified through surveillance footage showing him leaving the store with a Natty Daddy and a Too Turnt Tea in a basket on his light blue bicycle. Troopers found him nearby wearing the same clothes, with empty cans matching the stolen drinks.
Hayford reportedly admitted to the theft and was charged with misdemeanor retail theft. Court records show he is being held in Clarion County Prison on $5,000
