A Latrobe man was injured Sunday morning after his motorcycle struck a deer in Forest County.
State police say 65-year-old Michael F. Camilli, Sr. was riding east on Gilfoyle Road around 7:30 a.m. when several deer crossed his path. He hit one, lost control, and was thrown from his 2006 Honda Goldwing, which slid about 80 feet before hitting an embankment.
Camilli, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered minor head and body injuries but did not require ambulance transport. His motorcycle sustained significant damage.
