
Two cars collided at a traffic light on Route 68.
State Police say a car had begun proceeding through a green traffic light at the intersection of Route 68 and Kane Drive in Monroe Twp Clarion County on Sunday around six o’clock and was hit from behind by another car. Authorities say the driver of the car failed to notice the light was green and hit the car that had the right of way.
No names were released the driver who police say caused the accident was charged for not driving at a safe speed.

State Police in Clarion County report a 23-year old man was arrested for allegedly placing his hands on a 27-year old woman, both from New Bethlehem. Authorities say the incident occurred earlier this month and the investigation continues.

An unoccupied car on Route 66 from an earlier accident caused another crash.
Clarion State Police say 20 year old Corey Little from Mayport was on Route 66 north of Smith Road in Clarion County during the early hours of Sunday morning when he failed to notice a disabled car on the roadway. According to authorities, when Little noticed the car, he swerved to avoid hitting it. However, he impacted the vehicle. causing it to rotate before coming to a stop.
Investigators say, the unoccupied car had no lights on and was on the side of the road from an accident that happened earlier.

State Police in DuBois are investigating a theft by failure to make a required disposition of funds for a 55 year man from Falls Creek in Jefferson County.
Authorities say the suspect is known and the investigation is active. No other information was released.

This past Sunday two men from Parker were charged with physical assault.
According to State Police in Clarion, a 21 year old man and a 50 year old man got into a verbal altercation which turned physical. Authorities say both men kicked, shoved and punched each other, causing minor injures. The two men were cited for assault.

Four people were injured in a crash that happened on Wednesday morning in the Pine Township area of Route 422.
According to State Police in Indiana, the crash happened yesterday morning around 8 on Route 422 just west Pine Township in Indiana County. Troopers say 27-year-old Katrina Decker of Clymer was driving east on 422 traveling down hill when her car lost traction on the icy road. The car slid across the other lane and collided head on with a car driven by 52 year old Michele Loftus from Indiana, who had two passengers with her. Authorities say every one involved were injured, but Loftus was the only one taken to IRMC for treatment.
