A Clearfield County man convicted of plotting to kill his girlfriend’s ex-husband during a custody exchange has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Bryan Michaelis was found guilty in April of first-degree murder and other charges in the February 2024 shooting of 33-year-old Kodey Parks. Prosecutors said Michaelis and Parks’ estranged wife, Danielle Parks, conspired to carry out the killing. She was previously convicted and also received a life sentence.
