A Tionesta mother and son are facing multiple felony charges after an elderly woman with Alzheimer’s died from malnutrition and dehydration under their care.
According to ExploreClarion.Com, Beth A. Bradford, 60, and her son, Mark Alton Bradford, 36, were charged on May 19 with involuntary manslaughter and neglect following the June 2024 death of 84-year-old Beulah Baughman.
Police say Mark, who lived with Baughman, failed to provide proper care, while Beth, admitted to infrequent contact. An autopsy revealed Baughman died due to malnutrition, dehydration, and poor caregiving. Both were released on $25,000 unsecured bail and are due in court on June 24.
