A Jefferson County man is facing a felony and multiple misdemeanors after allegedly overdosing on fentanyl and admitting to storing drugs in his home.
ExploreJeffersonPa.Com reports, 35-year-old Andrew Bowser overdosed at his Washington Township residence on December 15, 2024. While responding, troopers found drugs in his basement. Bowser later told police the substances belonged to a friend who had died of an overdose and claimed he was trying to keep others safe. A search warrant led to the seizure of various drugs, including MDMA, meth, cocaine, and fentanyl, as well as paraphernalia and packaging tools.
Charges were approved on May 6, and Bowser is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
