The Punxsutawney Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash with entrapment Monday at 4:05 p.m. at the intersection of Harmony and Adrian roads in Young Township.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports, a Chevrolet Silverado and a Ford Bronco collided, causing the Bronco to slide over a guardrail and leave its rear end hanging over a gully, trapping the driver inside. Firefighters from Elk Run, Central, Lindsey, and McCalmont Township worked together to stabilize the vehicle and free the driver using the Jaws of Life and other rescue tools.
All individuals involved were transported to a trauma center in DuBois by Jefferson County EMS and Reynoldsville Ambulance.
