The Clearfield Borough Council postponed a vote on a proposed ordinance that would require businesses to pay a $750 fee and obtain a license to operate Pennsylvania Skills Game machines.
WTAJ News reports, the delay came due to a lack of quorum at Thursday’s meeting, with only four of six filled seats present. Local business owner Jason Holencik expressed frustration, saying many owners were blindsided by the proposal, which he called a lifeline amid rising costs.
