
A Clarion woman had her identity stolen. State Police in Clarion say the incident occurred back in October when a person used a credit card belonging to a 48 year old woman from Clarion to make two transactions. Investigators say her bank was able to stop the purchases before the money was drawn from her account.
No names were released and no other information was provided.

Yesterday there was an incident of harassment in Knox Township building.
According to Punxsutawney State Police, 58 year old Mervin Starawcutter from Mayport allegedly harassed 67 year old James Berry from Brookville yesterday around 6:30 in the morning.
The investigation continues.

The Chief of the Mahaffey Fire Department requested the assistance from a Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshall to hep determine the origin and cause of the house fire that had occurred on Friday.
Punxsutawney State Police say, no one was injured in the fire of the two story house belonging to a 48 year old woman from Mahaffey; however, the house was a complete loss and damage was estimated at $25,000.
The investigation is ongoing.

An investigation into the theft of several items continues.
Punxsutawney State Police report the incident occurred sometime between November and December of last year at the residence of a 53-year old man from Big Run. Investigators say the items include a vintage folding blade, a pocket watch valued at $2,000 and other items totaling $3,500.

A person was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs. Punxsutawney State police say the incident happened on Saturday evening when they were conducting a traffic stop on Route 36 in the Village of Cloe in Bell Township, Jefferson county and discover the driver was in possession of drug paraphernalia and was suspected of driving on a controlled substance.
Charges are pending and no other information was released.

This past Thursday State Police in DuBois say an act of criminal trespass happened in Reynoldsville.
According to authorities 29 year old Jeremy Appleton from Reynoldsville went into a residence when he was already served with a no trespass notice by the manager of an apartment complex and two Reynoldsville Police officers. Officials say Appleton fled the scene, and the investigation continues.

State Police in Marienville say on Friday afternoon a verbal argument happened inside a car on Odonnell Road in Eldred Twp in Jefferson County between a 47-year old man from Sigel and a 35 year old woman from Brockway.
According to authorities no injuries were reported, but the threat of physical harm was made and they were cited.

Charges will be filed against three people who got into a scuffle.
According to State Police in Indiana, last Tuesday after noon when an argument between 24-year old Jacob Shedlock from Clymer, and 21-year old Tianna Deyarmin and Steven Loughman, both from Indiana, became physical. Authorities say Deyarmin had scraps, cuts and an injured nose and fled the scene with Shedlock, but they were caught a short time later.
Police report Deyarmin had drug paraphernalia and charges will be filled at the District Court.
