Two Eclipses are Coming to the U.S. and Canada this month.
A total lunar eclipse on March 13-14 will turn the moon red, from 2:26 a.m. to 3:31 a.m. EDT. Later, on March 29, a partial solar eclipse will be visible in the northeastern U.S., eastern Canada, Europe, and northwestern Africa. Viewers should use proper eye protection.
Additionally, the spring equinox occurs on March 20, marking the official transition from winter to spring.
