Charges are being filed against a man in Brookville who attempted to give an EMS medic and a police officer some marijuana.
According to Brookville Police, the incident happened last month when Jefferson County EMS was at a hotel in Brookville on a medical call when the patient attempted to give the medic marijuana. When police arrived at the scene, they say the patient gave the bag of marijuana to a Special Police Officer to hold onto for him while he was being taken to Penn Highlands in Brookville for treatment.
Charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia are being filed at the Magistrate’s Office. No further information was released.
