A 66-year-old man from Leeper, William R. Pfendler, was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Little Hickory Road in Green Township, Forest County, on August 30.
According to police, a deer collided with his Yamaha motorcycle, causing him to slide off the road and into a ditch. Pfendler, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to UPMC Northwest for treatment.
