On August 6, 36-year-old, Cory M. Mokwa, from Tionesta, crashed his SUV into a commercial building on Little Hickory Road in Hickory Township, Forest County.
The police report states the accident occurred when Mokwa tried to avoid a deer and lost control of his 2001 Chevrolet Suburban. The vehicle sustained major damage, but Mokwa, who was wearing a seatbelt, was unharmed. He was charged with a traffic violation for driving too fast for conditions.
